Isabell Treurnich was born in Bloemfontein on 21 May 1961. She matriculated from Jim Fouche Secondary School in 1979 and graduated in 1982 from the University of the Orange Free State with a BA Degree in Drama.
She relocated to Johannesburg in 1983 and took a position with Security Surveillance as a consultant. She was promoted to Sales Manager after 6 months. She accepted a position with Modern Factory Planning as a canvassing supervisor in 1984 and excelled to such an extent that she was promoted to Sales Director in 1986. She opened a new division for the company and managed it successfully until she resigned in 1990.
In 1991 she joined the Rhema Bible Training Centre as a full-time student whilst working part-time for Sanlam. After her graduation from the training centre she resigned from Sanlam to accept a marketing assistant position with Wilsenach Communications.
She joined Progressive Systems College on a part time basis In September 1992 and established a telecanvassing department. In February 1993 she joined Progressive Systems in a full time capacity as a consultant and become the top consultant for the company. At the end of June 1993, she was offered a management position in Centurion Branch.
She assisted with training at various branches and was promoted to Business Development Manger in September 1995.
She initiated the joint venture with Afrifocus and opened the broking division for Afrifocus in Centurion. She was invited to join the board of directors in December 1997. She was offered the Chief Executive's position in August 2002.
She completed the Registered Person Exams in 1999.
She bought the company together with Patrick Moore in January 2003 who has subsequently sold his share holding to her in 2009.
Isabell is also vice chairperson of Collective Inheritance, a non profit organisation that provides relieve for poor South Africans in the form of skills development, soup kitchens and Christian based education. Collective Inheritance also supports the rural farmers in Zimbabwe by providing essentials for farming as well as sponsored education for rural children.
Esther Esterhuizen matriculated in Swartland High School in the Western Province.
She completed her BA Communications degree in Bloemfontein in 1989. During her school and University career she also played hockey and was captain of her various teams over the years. She followed a career in the media and arts world for many years also performing various productions on stage. She worked in Germany for a few years and is fluent in German. Esther started her career in Progressive Systems College in 1998 in Rivonia under Dr David Paul, who is also her mentor in this business.
Initially she started as a Field Consultant and later moved to the Call Centre. Her passion for the cause of educating people on the stock market and thereby enriching their lives was the main force behind her success. She was top sales consultant in Rivonia branch and was promoted to team leader during this period. Esther's excellent people skills prompt Patrick Moore to promote her to Call Centre Manager. She was promoted to Branch Manager of Rivonia office in March 2006 and has been promoted to Marketing Director whilst still fulfilling the role as branch manager.
Esther acts as secretary for Collective Inheritance, a Public Benefit Organisation focusing on empowering the poor and unemployed in South Africa.
Tinka was born in Springs on the 9th of May 1967. She matriculated from Hoër Meisies Hugenote in 1985.
After matric, Tinka registered to study teaching and Drama at Normaal Kollege Pretoria in 1986. She graduated with a HOD-ed in 1989.
She started her teaching career at Laerskool Magalieskruin. She relocated to Pietersburg late 1990 where she pursued her teaching career. In 1995 Tinka returned to Pretoria and continued teaching until November 1995.
Tinka joined Progressive Systems College in December 1995 as a canvasser in Centurion Branch. She quickly progressed through the ranks and by the end of 1998 she was awarded the National Best Supervisor's award. She move to the call centre as a consultant in January 1999 and was top consultant in the branch each consecutive month. She was also the top consultant nationally for that year.
Tinka was promoted to Call Centre Manager in 1999. She won the National Call Centre Management Award that year. Once again Tinka was promoted, this time as sales manager of Centurion branch. She resigned in 2000 due to health reasons.
Tinka returned to teaching again in 2003. In June 2004, Tinka was offered a sales management position in Share Direct, Centurion which she accepted. She currently manage the Centurion sales team and has been promoted to Sales Director.
Kgolofelo Selowa was born in Pretoria, Gauteng on the 25 of February 1989. He matriculated in 2006 and studied Web Development at Tshwane University of Technology from 2007 until 2009.
In February 2010 he joined Share Direct as Web Developer. He is in charge of the maintenance and support of the Share Direct website and most of the company's I.T operations.
Lizè Treurnich was born in the Bloemfontein on 15 Sepetember 1971. She matriculated in 1989 from the Secondary High School Ladybrand in the Easten Free State.
She achieved Import and Export Financial Management in 1998 after which she completed various other Import and Export courses. She was involved in RCS International Pty Ltd, Stock and Stock as well as Murray and Roberts Construction as a Import and Export administrator.
Lizè joined the Share Direct Centurion Team in January 2004. She is responsible for the Accounting Department.
Nicolle Wepener was born on the 9th of November 1970 in good ol' fashioned, Sunnyside, Pretoria at St Mary's Hospital. Nurse 'Florrie' had great aspirations for her as a tot weighing in at 4 pounds, 4 ounces. She grew up in Kempton Park and was an avid scholar and sportswoman at Norkem Park High and graduated in 1988. Nicolle began training in martial arts at the tender age of 11, under duress from her father. She won her first medals as a white belt karateka. Her passion and dedication for the sport took her to attain Springbok status in 1996, with a number of titles and achievements under her belt. She currently holds the rank of 2nd Dan Black Belt.
Nicolle joined the South African Navy in 1989, hoping to get some direction in a possible future career. The adventurer within and her disciplined nature gave her a fruitful and successful career in work, study and sport within the South African Defence Force, with Chief of the Navy commendations. She successfully completed the SA Navy Diver selection phase as the first female to pave the way for future attestation of women into the SA Navy Divers Corps.
After completing 10 years of service in the Permanent Force, Nicolle was seeking the lure of the private sector and got involved in the Motor Industry, firstly in sales and later on her own, in vehicle sourcing and financing. Soon after that she found her priorities changed with her role as mother to her two children, Lauren and Matthew.
She picked up her career as Finance and Insurance Business Manager at Renault, during which time she was introduced to Share Direct as a client. Nicolle underwent the courses, seminars and mentorship programs during 2006/07 in a very tough and volatile market. She was determined to understand and study the markets further and completed every possible course that was made available to her. She has the deepest respect and gratitude for Dr David Paul, who she regards as her mentor, as has always been responsive and open about his market views and his entertaining character. Nicolle is a true student of David's philosophy on the market as she has made detailed personal notes on every seminar and has tested his theories thoroughly.
Nicolle is so passionate about the markets and eager to learn and share it's mechanics with others, that she joined Share Direct as a consultant in February 2009. She was offered an opportunity to bring a fresh light on the Equity Trading Course as a lecturer. Her career with Share Direct has gone from strength to strength and within a year Nicolle has managed to prove herself as an efficient lecturer in other specialised fields. She is in the process of completing her Registered Persons Exams and has plans to complete a study in the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) field. As all work and no play are not always good, Nicolle is also a trader in SSF's, CFD's, Equities and Forex. She believes that the "proof is in the pudding", and likes to put her strategies to the test with real money in the real market. "After all, that's the only way you learn and I can't teach what I don't practice."
Nicolle is adept at fundamental analysis and she is inspired by the writings and studies of great businessmen like Warren Buffet, Donald Trump and Robert T. Kiyosaki. She is currently developing a course for SETA accreditation (Level 8), on detailed fundamental and technical analysis of the financial markets for Share Direct. She is a firm believer in anyone's ability to improve their financial intelligence, irrespective of your age, background, race or creed.
Johan Malan was born on 29 February 1968 in Pretoria. He matriculated from High school CR. Swart in 1986. He studied Bsc Computer Science at the University of Pretoria from 1987-1990. After completing national service he went into business from 1991-2007. He started to trade the markets full time in 2006 and joined Share Direct in 2008 to pursue a career in the markets.
Johan is presenting the Short Term Strategies Seminars. He is also the mentor for both Single Stocks and Intraday traders. He is also responsible for e-Mentoring of clients who have completed their Investment Career with us.
He is currently completing his Registered Person's Exams.
